SCORING OF EVENTS
-
A high point scoring system shall apply

-
A team's event score will be determined by the formula Score = Base * C1 * C2, where "Base" is determined by their position at the event, "C1" is a coefficient based on the size of the event, and "C2" is a coefficient based on the strength of the event, determined by the average Elo rating of the ten highest-ranked teams competing.
-
The values of "Base", "C1" and "C2" shall be determined using the table below

-
One-day events shall be awarded half points

-
Teams involved in ties that cannot be separated using Appendix D4.4 sections a-c of the RRS will be awarded the average points of the positions under contention. This may differ from the scoring system used by the event organisers.
SCORING OF SERIES
-
A team's best 5 results will count towards their overall series score
-
A team's best 3 results in any one zone shall count towards their series score in that zone.
-
Teams may only score points at one event per weekend. If two teams are entered at different events under the same name, only the higher-scoring team's points will be added to their series score.
-
Ties in a series will be broken using, in the following order:
-
Total points in events at which all teams in the tiebreak participated.
-
Each team's event scores in descending order, broken at the first point of difference
-
Highest points in the most recent event at which all teams in the tiebreak participated.
-
If the tie cannot be broken using these three steps the teams will share the places under contention., with each team being awarded average points
-
